Overview

We are seeking a skilled Insulator to join our team, responsible for installing and maintaining insulation in various settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and possess a diverse skill set that includes roofing, plumbing, welding, and electrical experience. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

Install insulation materials in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Read and interpret schematics to determine insulation requirements. Work collaboratively with other trades such as carpentry, plumbing, and electrical teams. Perform tasks related to roofing, plastering, masonry, and construction painting as needed. Fabricate insulation components to fit specific areas using various tools. Ensure all installations meet safety regulations and quality standards. Maintain a clean and organised work environment.

Skills

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to insulation work. Experience in roofing, plumbing, welding, and electrical systems is highly desirable. Knowledge of construction practices and materials. Ability to read and understand schematics for effective installation. Familiarity with plastering techniques and masonry work. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members.
