We are seeking a skilled Tig Welder to join our dynamic team. As a Tig Welder, you will play a crucial role in fabricating and assembling components to meet high-quality standards. This position requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Perform TIG welding on various materials, ensuring high-quality welds that meet specifications.
Assemble and fabricate components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Collaborate with team members to improve processes and resolve any welding-related issues.
Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.
Experience
Proven experience in TIG welding; additional experience in stick welding is advantageous.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.
Familiarity with working on sheet metal and other materials is preferred.
Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to welding tasks.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
A commitment to maintaining high safety standards in the workplace.
