Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tile Setter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in laying tiles for various surfaces, including floors, walls, and countertops. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Tile Setter will work closely with other tradespeople to ensure high-quality installations that meet industry standards. Must have own tools and transport

Responsibilities

Measure and cut tiles to fit designated areas accurately. Prepare surfaces for tile installation by cleaning, leveling, and applying adhesives. Lay tiles in accordance with design specifications and patterns. Ensure proper alignment and spacing of tiles during installation. Apply grout and sealant to finished tile work for durability and aesthetics. Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters, plumbers, and electricians, to complete projects efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the job site. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation processes.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Tile Setter or in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction plans. Familiarity with various materials used in tile setting, including ceramic, porcelain, glass, and natural stone. installation, heavy equipment operation, and restoration is highly desirable. Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively while adhering to safety protocols. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods.
