Job Description

Are you an experienced warehouse leader looking to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic business? We're seeking a proactive Warehouse Manager to drive performance and efficiency in our new facility based off J15a, leading a team of 20+ staff in a high-energy, ever-evolving environment.

About the Role


As Warehouse Manager, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end management of our warehouse operations, from staff recruitment, training, and supervision to inventory control and process improvement. You'll ensure safe, efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, maintaining the highest standards of health and safety. Collaborating with purchasing, sales, and marketing, you'll drive operational excellence and help deliver our business objectives.

What You'll Do



Lead, motivate, and develop a team of supervisors and warehouse operatives

Ensure a safe, well-maintained working environment through daily inspections and robust H&S practices

Oversee stock control, order fulfilment, and KPI reporting

Manage costs, optimise resource utilisation, and drive continuous improvement

Foster a positive, collaborative work culture and support staff development

Work cross-functionally to support business-wide initiatives

What We're Looking For



Proven warehouse management experience with strong leadership and people skills

Track record of delivering excellent service and operational efficiency

Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical abilities

Commitment to health & safety compliance and best practice

Ability to work flexibly across multiple shifts

Experience liaising with suppliers, customers, and transport companies

Essential



Experience of a B2C logistics environment

Ability to prioritise, multitask and manage deadlines

Experience with MS Word and Outlook

Can demonstrate the ability to lead and motivate a team through engagement and consultation

Can model throughput against resource and forecast operational outcomes using a data-led approach.

Desirable



Experience with procurement, e-commerce fulfilment, and materials handling equipment

Background in cross-functional team collaboration

Advanced Excel skills include the use of formulas, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.

Experience of liaising with external providers - auditors, etc.

MHE licences - Counter Balance, Reach Truck, PPT, etc.
