We are seeking a proactive and organised Assistant to support our team across various functions, including till operation and managing food orders. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently. The Assistant will be responsible for providing exceptional service ensuring the smooth and efficient running of a lunch service.

Responsibilities

Greet patrons in a courteous and professional manner prepare the cafe in the morning and after service. till operation in a busy lunch cafe learn our menu and be able to advise our customers accurately Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers in English Maintain organisational skills to keep work areas tidy and documentation up-to-date Handle basic maths calculations accurately for transactions or inventory management Support other team members as required to ensure smooth daily operations

Excellent proficiency in English is essential Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage confidently with diverse audiences IT literacy Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Good time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions and inventory counts Demonstrated ability to upsell products or services tactfully and effectively Ability to work well within a team, displaying flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Unlike many grab-and-go spots, all our food is cooked to order. Our close-knit team takes pride in delivering premium quality at speed, keeping service efficient while never compromising on flavour.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to 13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
