Job Description

Our friendly Day Nursery are looking for a dedicated Toddler Room Leader to join our amazing team, who has a passion for working with young children and creating a nurturing learning environment. This role involves providing high-quality care and education to children in their early years, as well as leading a team.

This position offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children while working in & providing a supportive team environment.

This role requires excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to manage a dynamic learning environment. As a a Room Leader you will play a crucial role in fostering the development and well-being of young children, ensuring they receive high-quality care and education.

Experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting is essential.



Knowledge of child development theories and practices is advantageous.

Experience of leading a team?

A relevant Childcare Qualification?

A good understanding of the EYFS?

Strong communication skills in English, verbal & written?

Proven & demonstrated leadership abilities with a drive to inspire & motivate others?

The ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a positive attitude?

A genuine passion for childcare & early childhood education?

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:



- Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's learning and development.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to explore and learn.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships.
- Manage daily routines, ensuring that all children receive appropriate care and attention.
- Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in early years education.
- Collaborate with other educators to develop a cohesive curriculum that meets the needs of all children.
- Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance.
