Join our dedicated team at Little Giants Nursery as a Toddler Room Leader and make a profound impact on the lives of our learners. We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional who is committed to providing exceptional care and early education to toddlers aged 2-3 years old.
Salary up to 28,500 p.a., dependent on experience (pro rata).
40 hours per week, shift patterns supporting opening hours 7.30a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
Start date: ASAP
Qualification: L3 or above
Essential experience: At least 2 years nursery experience of a good or outstanding nursery, with leadership and management experience
Desirable experience: Experience of working as part of a team to open a new nursery
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of nurturing caregivers in creating a safe and stimulating environment for babies to thrive in their early developmental stages.
Design and implement developmentally appropriate activities, ensuring each child's individual needs are met.
Foster strong relationships with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on their child's progress and maintaining open lines of communication.
Follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework to promote holistic development in areas such as communication, physical, and personal, social, and emotional development.
Monitor and assess each child's progress, adapting strategies and activities accordingly.
Ensure a high standard of health and safety measures are maintained at all times.
Requirements:
Hold a recognized qualification in Early Years Education (minimum Level 3) or equivalent.
Have previous experience working with toddlers and a solid understanding of their developmental needs.
Demonstrate strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
Show a genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing the best possible care.
