We are seeking a highly driven, engaging and commercially focussed
Trade Business Development Executive
to support the Trade & Media Partnership Manage
r
in growing our Travel Agent marketing channel.
In this role, you'll be the face of our brand to our travel agent partners -- building strong relationships, driving engagement, and ultimately increasing sales. You'll also help identify and shape new opportunities to support our long-term growth.
This is a varied, hands-on role that's perfect for a confident people-person who thrives on building connections, delivering results, and making a genuine impact.
Confident in presenting yourself in groups, or with individual partners, on and offline, we are looking for someone able to build excellent relationships that in turn, makes it easy to drive increased results. Specific accountabilities include:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing travel agent partners, while actively sourcing and onboarding new partners
Act as the main point of contact for the Reservations and Accounts teams to help with any travel agent related queries
Conduct regular visits to the top-performing travel agents (top 5%) throughout the year to strengthen partnerships and maximise revenue opportunities.
Represent the brands at trade events, exhibitions, and conferences to enhance engagement and brand visibility. (Some expensed nights away will be required)
Set-up new agents, issue agent pre-agreed contracts and log all completed contracts on the database
Work closely with the Trade & Media Partnership Manager to ensure trade marketing communications are innovative, engaging, and accurate
Monitor the Travel Agent email inboxes and action all requests that come in
Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to engage and inspire a community of 2,500+ travel agents through digital content and campaigns
Produce monthly internal reports and external performance updates for agency groups
About You:
We're looking for a
charismatic communicator
with a genuine flair for building relationships to drive sales. You'll be confident presenting one-on-one, in groups, and online. You'll have a strong commercial mindset, be able to juggle multiple priorities, and always keep revenue growth front of mind.
Essential:
Full driving licence (regular travel required)
Experience in the travel industry (e.g. travel agent, tour operator, or business development role).
Good social media acumen
