The Plastic Centre is one of the largest independently owned, manufacturer and distributor of building plastics in the UK. With over 6,000 products in stock, we have a wide range of Fascia & Soffit, Rainwater, Underground, UPVC Windows & Doors, Aluminium Bi Folds, External & Internal Cladding, Decking, Silicone, Tools and more. We currently have a branch network of 20 branches and have ambitious plans to grow the branch network over the next 5 years.
We believe that the Trade Counter Assistant/Driver role is key in the business and should provide us with a talent pool for those wanting to become our Assistant Managers of the future.
This is a role where the individual enjoys the day to interaction with our customer base - either in the branch or on site.
What we are looking for:
People who are hands on, get "stuck in and support" the wider team Be a part of a winning culture - we work hard but have fun doing it Must have a full UK driving license Positive attitude over previous trade experience trumps every time! Can deputize for the Assistant Branch Manager in their absence Individuals that are keen to develop into our future Assistant Managers
Accountabilities
Supporting the Branch team in the day-to-day activities Ensuring the branch is complying with our operational procedures Picking, Loading and delivering of our products to our customer base Identifying sales opportunities whilst "out on the road"
