We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trade Counter Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to engage with customers, ensuring they have an exceptional experience. As the Trade counter manager you will be responsible for running the trade counter area, bringing in new product lines to boost sales, maintaining adequate stock levels and making the shop area an inviting area to shop
Responsibilities
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Provide product knowledge and recommendations to enhance the customer experience.
Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets.
Participate in training sessions to stay informed about new products and promotions.
Skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions and cash management.
Experience working in a builders merchant or similar industry is essential.
A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service excellence.
