The ideal candidate will need to help customers in identifying desirable products for purchase. They will need to partake in processing orders, tracking deliveries, dealing with customers face to face and on the phone.
Our goal is to provide high class customer service and increase the company's growth and personal development. For this proactive role, the ideal candidate will need to have a passion for Sales as well as having great customer service and the ability to build customer relationships.
Ideally must also have knowledge of working in a builder's merchant or knowledge on building materials.
Responsibilities:
Answering telephones
Operating tills & card machines
Ordering and doing Purchase orders
Processing orders through face to face and telephone interactions.
Tracking deliveries
Participating in receiving new shipments of stock and stock checking
Dealing with day to day customer enquiries
Keeping up to date with product information
Accurately describing product features and benefits to customers
Follow all company policies and procedures
Requirements:
Builders' Merchants experience is preferable but not essential
Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practice
Proficiency in English
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality
IT Skills; must be proficient in Microsoft Office
Use of POS System
