Overview



We are looking for a

Trade Sales & Customer Experience Advisor

to join our office-based Trade team. In this role you will be providing sales and administration support to the Trade Sales Department whilst delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You'll play a key role in supporting our Trade Sales team, ensuring our valued trade partners receive outstanding service and timely support. Your work will directly influence customer satisfaction and sales performance. You will be joining a dynamic and supportive team so you will be a true team player, working collaboratively within the team and across other functions. You will have a positive and helpful approach to your job, customers and colleagues and will pride yourself on representing our products and brand.

Key Responsibilities



Proactively contacting trade customers on a cycle to assist the Account Managers with their sales strategy. Supporting the day-to-day use and optimisation of our dedicated trade ordering platform, ensuring customers have a smooth and efficient experience when placing orders. Dealing with customer enquiries effectively via email and telephone. Resolving customer issues promptly and accurately. Proactive approach to trade marketing requirements. Collaborating with the Marketing team to ensure trade sales platforms are up-to-date, visually aligned with our brand, and optimised for customer engagement. Taking a proactive approach to trade-related marketing and social media opportunities, sharing insights and ideas to support campaigns and customer engagement. Proactively seeking opportunities to maximise trade sales in a way that aligns with our brand. Processing and despatching orders for Customers in the UK, USA, and Europe via our dedicated carriers. Maintaining customer databases, both in house and external ordering platforms, ensuring that data integrity is upheld. Ensuring all labels and custom documentation are prepared correctly. Tracking deliveries with our couriers when required. Coordinating sales territory data using "Google Maps, to assist with key information relating to all customer accounts. Ensuring Account Manager's keep their customer records up to date. Working with the Account Managers and overseas partners to ensure that all orders are packed, labelled and booked in for delivery in a timely and accurate manner. Processing and recording customer returns. Maintaining internal communication records. Working closely with office counterpart to ensure a 'joined up' customer and team experience. Remain informed on all relevant risk assessment and H&S measures in place. Adhere to all H&S policies relevant to their role and department.

Experience, Requirements & Attributes



A proven background delivering exceptional customer service is essential for this role. A proven track record of customer sales and sales support. Exemplary telephone manner. An assertive manner and able to demonstrate using your initiative. Friendly, approachable and enthusiastic. Fantastic organisation skills. Great attention to detail. Good time-management and ability to balance own workload. Proficient in Microsoft Office software, and competent using MS Excel functions and formulas. Previous experience within retail sales or a similar field is an advantage. A genuine interest in lifestyle, homewares and interiors are an advantage. The successful candidate must have Right to Work in the UK.
