We are currently recruiting a trade sales manager for windows, doors & Conservatories who focuses on building and managing relationships with trade customers (like builders, developers, and installers) who purchase windows and doors for projects. They are responsible for driving sales within the trade channel, setting sales targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Building and Maintaining Relationships:
Build strong relationships with trade customers by providing excellent service, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions.
Generating Leads and Sales:
Actively seek out new trade customers and generate sales through various methods, including online marketing, networking, and direct outreach.
Meeting Sales Targets:
Responsible for achieving and exceeding sales targets set by the company.
Product Knowledge:
Possess a thorough understanding of the company's window, door & Conservatory products, including features, benefits, and technical specifications.
Negotiating and Closing Deals:
Negotiate pricing, terms, and payment options with trade customers, and close sales effectively.
Providing Technical Support:
Provide technical support to trade customers, assisting with product selection, installation, and troubleshooting.
Reporting and Analysis:
Track sales performance, analyse data, and provide reports to management.
Skills and Qualifications:

Strong Communication Skills:
Must be able to communicate effectively with a variety of trade customers, both verbally and in writing.
Relationship Building:
Must be able to build and maintain strong relationships with trade customers.
Sales Skills:
Must be skilled in sales techniques, including lead generation, prospecting, negotiation, and closing deals.
Product Knowledge:
Must have a solid understanding of the window, door & Conservatory products they sell.
Problem-Solving:
Must be able to identify and resolve problems that may arise with trade customers.
Time Management:
Must be able to manage their time effectively and prioritize tasks.
Trade Counter
To take responsibility of managing the trade counter and products.
