Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Traffic Account Manager to join our team in our Glasgow office. The Traffic Account Manager is responsible for processing orders from customers & organising transport collection requests ensuring the timely and cost-effective movement of goods.

This role plays a key part in supporting operations between manufacturing sites, warehouse facilities, and customer deliveries. The Traffic Account Manager will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure high service levels, and efficient route planning.

Plan and coordinate daily transport schedules for collections and deliveries. Optimise delivery routes to ensure cost-effective and efficient use of vehicles. Monitor real-time delivery performance and adjust plans as needed to minimise delays. Liaise with production and warehouse teams to ensure accurate loading and on-time dispatch. Work closely with third-party logistics providers and hauliers to secure reliable and cost-effective transport services. Monitor performance, resolve delivery issues, and escalate where necessary. Act as the first point of contact for customer order and transport-related queries, both internally and externally. Provide updates on delivery status to customers and internal teams. Resolve transport-related complaints promptly and professionally. Identify opportunities to reduce transport costs while maintaining service levels.

Pay: 35,000.00-40,000.00 per year
