Drainline Ltd are looking for experienced Traffic Management Operatives M1/M2 to join our team for ongoing works in Staveley. The successful applicants will be based locally and there will be an immediate start for the right candidates to work Monday to Friday 12.50-13.00 per hour, plus overtime at time and a quarter. opportunity for overtime and weekend work.

Key Responsibilities:
Implement traffic management systems according to established procedures and regulations.
Set up and maintain traffic control equipment such as cones, signs, and barriers to guide and direct traffic safely.
Direct traffic flow through work zones and detours, ensuring the safety of both motorists and construction personnel.
Monitor traffic conditions and adjust traffic control measures as needed to optimise flow and minimise congestion.
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders to coordinate traffic management activities.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections of traffic control equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
Respond promptly to emergency situations and incidents, implementing appropriate traffic management measures to mitigate risks.
Provide assistance and guidance to the public, answering questions and addressing concerns related to traffic management.
Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience in traffic management M1/M2 is essential.
Strong understanding of traffic management principles, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure, while maintaining a focus on safety and quality.
Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks in various weather conditions.
Reliable and punctual, with a strong commitment to teamwork and cooperation.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record may be required depending on job responsibilities.
