Overview

We are seeking a proactive and responsible Traffic Marshall to oversee the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and pedestrians within our site. This role is vital in maintaining safety standards, managing traffic flow, and supporting site operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and communication skills, with a focus on maintaining a secure environment for all personnel and visitors.

Responsibilities

Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic on-site to ensure smooth flow and safety compliance Manage access points, verifying authorised entry and exit of personnel and vehicles Maintain clear signage and communication to guide drivers and pedestrians effectively Conduct routine maintenance checks on traffic control equipment and signage Assist with site maintenance tasks as required to uphold safety standards Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly to the relevant management team Support logistical operations by coordinating vehicle movements during busy periods

Skills

Strong management abilities to organise traffic flow efficiently Excellent communication skills for clear instructions and liaising with team members and visitors Basic maintenance knowledge to ensure traffic control equipment remains functional Valid driving licence preferred for operational flexibility within the site Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond swiftly to changing circumstances Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Pay: 13.03-14.00 per hour
