As part of this role you will be supporting managers and other staff in providing a range of accountancy services to our clients. We will support you in gaining the experience and knowledge needed as you progress through AAT/ACCA/ACA.

Role & Responsibilities



Preparation of annual accounts for a variety of small companies, sole traders and partnerships Quarterly bookkeeping to include the preparation of VAT Returns Assisting with administrative tasks as required Contacting HMRC when required Preparation of basic Tax Returns Conducting bookkeeping for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships Gain experience with company secretarial services Progressively assume more significant responsibilities and deepen your technical knowledge Ensuring your timesheet is accurate and completed on time each week Support the team with all admin tasks and basic accounts jobs Understand the business and how accountancy practices run Keep your training file up to date

Desired Skills



Ability to show initiative and work within a team Ability to show good client relationships To be comfortable with Microsoft Office, including Excel Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to build rapport with people at various levels Analytical and ability to complete tasks to a high level

Qualifications



5 GCSE's 4 to 9 (A to C) including Maths and English Or Relevant A Levels or University Degree A desire to complete AAT/ACCA/ACA
