We are looking to hire our next "star" trainee accountant here at Realise.

For the right person, this is a unique opportunity to have a great career in an accountancy practice, to be involved with clients from an early point in their career, and get stuck in with preparing accounts as standard.

Don't worry about being "qualified". This role is open to an individual straight out of A Levels or University, or just looking to get into the field. A full apprenticeship will be provided for the right candidate, and training given. This could also be open to someone with Level 3 AAT qualifications and some practice experience - so don't be put off, we are open and flexible!

There is no job like this at any other practice locally - it is probably the most relaxed, stress-fee, and "fun" accounting job around (if we do say so ourselves)!

Duties

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and records. Prepare accounts up to TB stage (and beyond if you wish). Utilise accounting software such as Xero & FreeAgent (and also QuickBooks / Sage on occassion, however we are primarily a Xero practice). Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and balance sheets. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Help with essential practice admin such as scanning post, liasing with clients.

Skills

Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Effective communication skills for liaising with team members and stakeholders.

Pay: Up to 20,000.00 per year
