The Role:

We're looking for a Trainee Accountant to join our Stockport office.

This role is ideal for someone currently studying AAT Level 3 or Level 4 (or equivalent) and looking to build on their existing experience in an accountancy practice.

You will work alongside experienced professionals, developing your technical and client-facing skills in a supportive and collaborative environment - with clear progression opportunities as you advance through your studies.

Main Responsibilities:

Preparing accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders Assisting with tax returns and VAT filings Performing bookkeeping and reconciliations Supporting payroll processing Communicating with clients and preparing financial reports Using cloud-based accounting systems and Microsoft Office tools

Who We're Looking For:

1-2 years' experience working in an accountancy practice Currently studying AAT Level 3 or 4 (or equivalent) Good working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office tools Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work Excellent interpersonal and communication skills A driving licence and access to a car is preferred
