Operating for over 80 years from within West Yorkshire, Victor Manufacturing Ltd are a long established, family owned and operated, manufacturer of catering equipment & servery counters, supplying a number of prestigious clients both nationally and internationally.

The Role

Victor Manufacturing are looking to recruit a motivated and ambitious Trainee Accounts Assistant to join our accounts and finance department here in Keighley. This role will provide on the job training and for the right candidate, potential to work towards a recognised accounting qualification such as AAT.

As the Trainee Accounts Assistant, your daily duties will include, but not be limited to:

Managing Transactional activities within sales ledger Setting up new customer accounts and managing credit limits Chasing Customer payments Dealing with Customer Invoice queries Allocating daily bank transactions Monthly bank and ledger reconciliations Assisting with Purchase ledger activities Liaising and communicating professionally with Customers, Suppliers and other internal departments Becoming efficient with MS Dynamics NAV/ BC and MS Office Other Ad-hoc duties as required Assisting the Management Accountant in various company analysis and business reporting

The Candidate

The successful candidate will be highly organised, flexible, reliable and seeking to progress their career in an accounts department. The successful candidate will need to have good verbal and written communication skills as well as having good IT skills along with a minimum of grade 4 in maths.

Hours of Work

8:15am - 4:30pm (Monday to Thursday)
8:30am - 3:00pm (Fridays)
