Smiths (Gloucester) Ltd is a family run business owned and run by the Smith family since 1982. Smiths has grown from a single owner-operated plant hire company to a multifaceted group with family values still firmly at the heart of each project undertaken. With depots in Avonmouth, Cardiff, Gloucester, Stonehouse and Tewkesbury we operate predominately across the South-West of England. We specialise in Construction, Waste Management, Plant Hire, Demolition and Transport operations.


Hourly rate: 13.50 + full training package provided.


Contracted hours: 42.5 hours per week

Training and qualifications

: We will provide full training to enable you to complete your work efficiently and effectively and get you the tickets you require.

What we need from you?

You will be required to hold a full UK driving license to be successful The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Experience in carpentry/site work/ hand tools is a preferred

Responsibilities for the job role:

To carry out asbestos removal works on a variety of projects including commercial and residential buildings. To ensure all works carried out are in accordance with instructions. To work in accordance with HSE regulatory requirements and Smiths (Gloucester) Ltd policies and procedures. Work effectively as part of a team.
