Here at Axco, we call this role a Business Development Representative. The key purpose of the role is to engage with the marketplace, the communities therein and with individual customers to an arrange pipeline portfolio for our Business Development Mangers.

You will be working closing with our experienced BDM\xe2\x80\x99s conducting research and following up on data lead information to develop new revenue streams.

You will be someone who enjoys researching and finding new connections and is not put off by getting on the phone to find decision makers. You will be part of a team who have the opportunity to showcase Axco\xe2\x80\x99s fantastic range of products and services into client operations.

In addition to this as our Trainee Business Development Executive you will be responsible for:

  • Developing a robust understanding of the Axco value propositions and the challenges of the target market.
  • Working with the Commercial Team to identify and size new markets and business development opportunities e.g. Insurance Company information promoted to Investment Banks
  • Undertaking desk research to identify job titles, target entities, and contacts, relevant to the Axco proposition.
  • Using social marketing, email, and cold calling to generate leads, carry out lead qualification, and schedule discovery calls for Business Development Managers.
  • Achieving weekly and monthly activity goals
  • Cleansing and maintaining Axco contact databases/CRM database management
  • Managing all relevant internal and external stakeholders
You will also need;
  • Excellent communication skills \xe2\x80\x93 spoken, written, and listening
  • A strong understanding of working with or in a consultative sales environment
  • A commercial awareness and the ability to apply oneself analytically
  • Strong relationship building skills and the ability and drive to develop your professional network
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and outlook.
