Binnies, an RSK company are recruiting Trainee CAD Technicians to join our teams based in Central Scotland, Redhill and the South East of England. Our CAD team are vital in supporting frameworks with Scottish Water, Anglian Water, Southern Water and Thames Water AMP programmes. The CAD Technicians will be accountable to support the Design Lead and other team members in delivering detailed design services including production of models and drawings using Civil 3D, Revit and AutoCAD.We have offices in Redhill, Glasgow, Chester and Birmingham, although Binnies fully support Hybrid/Remote working, this role would be office based to enable a better learning environment.Key responsibilities:

• Work to Binnies project controls guidelines and procedures. Including our Common Data Environment (CDE), Projectwise.
• Support the Design Lead/CAD Manager and other team members in undertaking a wide range of design related tasks.
• Undertake design, and modelling activities, using the software packages detailed below.
• Produce comprehensive and accurate construction deliverables, typically 2D Drawings, developed from 3D Models.
• Comply with the Binnies IMS, CDM regulations and other relevant Safety and Environmental legislation.
• Maintain high technical standards, consistent with the project brief and compliance with Binnies HSEA requirements.

Beneficial Experience:

• Understanding of Water / Wastewater Treatment.
• Understanding of Flood Defence and Environmental Issues.
• Any use of AutoDesk Software.
