Trainee Cad Technician
Job Description
ASM Engineering is one of the market leaders in ventilation Ductwork and Airside Contracting and we have created a fantastic opportunity for a Trainee to join our team in Hitchin.
This role is Ideal for someone looking for their first full time position following studies, joining a company offering career progression in CAD draughting within the construction industry.
The suitable candidate must have an interest in mechanical engineering, CAD and technical drawing and consider themselves to have a practical ability to problem solving.
You will have strong communication skills, be computer literate and technically minded with the desire to learn. Some CAD experience would be beneficial, however, we will provide in-house training for our industry-specific CAD software and all aspects of the role.
Over time, this role holds the potential for development into a 'CAD Project Leader' that would involve heading up a project team for the CAD Department. Clearly, this involves greater responsibilities and in turn a reflective salary.
Starting salary is 22,000-25,500, however, this is dependent on the individual.
