Overview:
The Role and Team
Working as part of the Manufacturing Commercial Finance team, based in Trowbridge, this office based role will be a key member of the Manufacturing community working alongside the business to enhance commercial support.

This role provides a fabulous opportunity for a bright individual starting out or progressing on their finance career to grow their skills and influence our business.

You will foster an environment of continuous improvement by identifying and delivering efficiencies ensuring that the Manufacturing Commercial Finance team work in as lean and an effective manner as possible.

This role provides an exciting opportunity for the right individual to gain commercial exposure and provide a platform to develop a career in Finance.
Opportunities to join the apprenticeship scheme learning either ACCA or CIMA alongside your employment are available.


We currently operate a hybrid working model, you will need to work from the Trowbridge Head office (our main mainufacturing site) at least 3 days per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong bonds with key business stakeholders to collectively identify and deliver value adding initiatives
  • Continuous development of key business intelligence focusing on areas which provide Production Managers with a deeper understanding of the financial dynamics of activities
  • Automate, streamline and improve the efficiencies and effectiveness of Manufacturing Commercial Finance processes.
  • Producing KPI\xe2\x80\x99s and other financial reports for production management to aide decision making
  • Routine support and involvement in various areas of the Manufacturing Commercial Finance and wider Production teams to ensure all departmental objectives are met within the required timescales
  • Be an effective team member and contributor to other ad-hoc support / project work
  • Contribute to the month end reporting duties as required, by completing/ publishing & presenting reports as well as posting journals.
Qualifications/Personal Qualities:
Essential:
  • Previous experience in a finance role/ setting
  • Avaliable to be on-site at least 3 days per week



Desirable:
  • Previous experience of SAP.
  • Currently working towards and continuing to pursue accounting qualifications.
