JOB DESCRIPTION -Trainee damp proofing & plastering Technician

Biocraft is a leading specialist contractor providing damp proofing, timber preservation and home ventilation services throughout Berkshire and Oxfordshire. Biocraft provides a range of property services to both the public and private sector as well as commercial buildings and listed properties. As a result of our continued success and to aid with future plans we are now have an exciting opportunity for a trainee damp proofing & plastering technician who is motivated to learn the trades of damp proofing, building preservation and restoration.

The applicant must be able to work as part of a team and have good communication skills, to be able to communicate with both clients and work colleagues, have a pride in their work and want to learn, training will be given as part of the company training program.

Responsibilities

Day to Day tasks will included

Damp proofing and general building works

Dry lining and plastering works

Stripping plaster

Mould cleaning

Installation of loft and wall insulation

General building labouring and works - manual handling digging, loadings and site clearance

Requirements

Can do attitude, positive outlook and friendly demeanour

Good Customer Service Skills

Good communication skills

Willingness to work in a practical role where you "get your hands dirty"

Able to work at heights and confined spaces

A decent standard of physical fitness and manual dexterity is essential

Be keen to learn, punctual and professional

Construction/ building qualifications or working towards them

CSCS card and a driving licence would be a benefit

Must be able to get to our office address for 7:00hrs mon-fri

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.50-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
