Job Summary

Doggy Adventures is looking for a motivated, energetic and dedicated

Trainee Dog Walker

to join our pack. This is not just a job -- it's the

first step toward running your own dog walking business

as part of our growing franchise network.

During the 6-month contract, you will receive hands-on training and mentoring in every aspect of the role, with the aim of preparing you to take on your own territory as a franchise owner.

Responsibilities

Safely collect, transport, and walk dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments Provide enrichment, exercise, and care to groups of dogs in secure outdoor settings Build strong relationships with both dogs and their owners through reliable communication and exceptional customer service Manage logistics including scheduling, timekeeping, and vehicle cleanliness Follow health, safety, and welfare protocols at all times Be ready and able to lift and separate dogs when needed (physically fit) Work outdoors in all weather conditions with a positive, can-do attitude
What We're Looking For

Genuine passion for dogs and their wellbeing Ambition to eventually run your own business Willingness and financial readiness to purchase/operate your own van as part of the franchise path Excellent communication and customer service skills Physically fit and confident handling multiple dogs Reliable, responsible, and committed to providing top-quality care Able to work independently once trained Full driving licence required Career Progression
