Trainee Dust and Fume Technician (LEV Technician)

Looking to build a career in engineering with full training and great progression opportunities? EFS are Scotland's premier dust handling partner for the manufacturing industry, and we're seeking a motivated trainee to join our team in Central Scotland.

This role combines site-based and office work, with occasional travel further afield, and offers the chance to develop into a fully qualified LEV Technician. You'll enjoy a 4-day working week, a supportive family-run culture, and a clear route to professional qualifications.

What you'll be doing

Hands-on training in commissioning, balancing and thorough examination of LEV systems Maintaining and repairing dust and fume extraction systems Troubleshooting and fault finding Compiling reports using Microsoft Office Supporting day-to-day business operations with a variety of practical tasks
What we're looking for

A positive "can do" attitude and willingness to learn Excellent IT skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Full clean driving licence Previous industrial site experience, including risk assessments and method statements, would be an advantage but not essential
What we offer
