What You'll Be Doing
As a Trainee Service Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality service to our customers, including:
Performing scheduled maintenance on wastewater systems (mechanical and electrical).
Diagnosing and repairing faults.
Conducting refurbishments.
Providing detailed reports on completed work.
Collaborating with our scheduling team to manage workloads efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Attend customer sites, ensuring safety procedures are followed and work is completed to a high standard.
Build positive relationships with customers, keeping them informed throughout the process.
Go above and beyond to exceed customer expectations, ensuring their satisfaction.
Stay on-site as needed to see a job through to completion.
Maintain company standards, including cleanliness and organisation of tools, vehicles, and stock.
Participate in team meetings and ongoing training.
Once fully trained, provide on-call support as part of a rota system.
What We're Looking For
Eligibility:
Able to work in the UK with a full driving license (preferred).
Skills:
Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and email).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good time management and prioritisation skills.
Basic IT proficiency (e.g., email, work instructions).

Working Environment
You'll initially report to our Claydon office for training and later work independently, receiving tasks electronically. Confidence in lone working and a responsible attitude are essential.
