Trainee Fall Protection Operative

Location:

Stoke-on-Trent (with UK travel)

Salary:

26,000 - 29,000 + overtime (depending on experience)

Hours:

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (occasional weekends and overnight stays)

About Us

Summit Access & Consultancy is a specialist in fall protection, rope access and height safety, providing installation, inspection, and maintenance services across the UK. We work with a wide range of clients to ensure people can work safely at height. Due to continued growth, we are now looking for a Trainee Fall Protection Operative to join our team.

The Role

This is an entry level position, perfect for someone looking to build a career in the height safety industry. Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll receive full training to install, maintain, and test fall protection systems such as safety lines, guardrails, access ladders, anchor systems. As well as provide rope access support for our partners.

Day to day responsibilities

Assist with installations and inspections of fall protection equipment Learn how to work safely at height and follow industry standards Help with preparing sites and handling equipment Support with surveys and job reports Travel to sites nationwide, occasionally staying overnight

What We're Looking For

No prior experience required - full training will be provided A good level of fitness and confidence working at height Willingness to travel and stay away when needed A positive, reliable, and proactive attitude Must live locally to the ST7 area Age 25+ for insurance purposes Full UK driving licence Experience in a manual/hands-on role CSCS card
