Quality Coatings Department

for the following personnel:

Trainee General Operative

The ideal candidate would ideally have some experience in an Industrial Spraying/Blasting environment who is methodical and process driven with good attention to detail and communication skills.

Role will include workshop based training in the following:

Preparing parts for Painting and Shot Blasting to various standards in accordance with clients' specification and accepted trade practice Shot-blasting, Glass Bead Blasting & Garnet Blasting The correct processes and procedures for operating and maintaining airless spray-painting equipment and shot-blasting equipment. Practicing good housekeeping - including correct paint storage and maintaining clear paper records

The role will also include:

Provide assistance to Engineering Personnel during dismantling, repair and reassembly of electro-mechanical equipment General labouring duties, including lifting operations and forklift driving.

Experience:

Experience is a similar environment is ideal. Ability to prioritise workload when up against deadlines Ability to work as part of a team and under own initiative Valid forklift truck licence desirable but not necessary
This is a permanent, full time role working at our main site in

Bucksburn, Aberdeen.
