We're a small, but fast paced company seeking a driven Trainee Sales Representative who is looking for a role that offers a clear career path to Sales Representative.
The Trainee Inbound Sales Representative will play a vital role in supporting the sales team by managing sales administration, coordinating inbound enquiries, and ensuring smooth order processing. This position is ideal for someone highly organised, detail-oriented with great communication skills, eager to learn and kickstart their career in sales.
Key Responsibilities
Work as part of a team reporting to the Inbound Sales Representative
Assist with qualifying inbound enquiries, ensuring prompt acknowledgement, qualification, and/or assignment of inbound enquiries
Maintain and update CRM records with accurate customer and order information
Assist with preparing and issuing sales quotations and pricing
Support the sales team with follow-up emails, calls, and customer communications
Organise and dispatch product samples, brochures, and documentation as requested
Handle routine customer queries and escalate complex issues to the appropriate department
Perform general administrative tasks to ensure smooth sales operations
Provide reports to your line manager as and when required
Liaise with other departments (e.g., logistics, accounts) to support order fulfilment and customer satisfaction
Required Skills
Experience in an administrative role
Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with internal and external customers
Professional and customer-focused attitude
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
Proficient and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills and technologies
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Highly motivated individual with a passion for problem-solving with a proactive approach
Desirable
Experience in sales support role
Experience of CRM & ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce)
Basic understanding of sales processes
Qualifications
GCSE or above in English and Mathematics

Pay: 23,000.00-27,000.00 per year
