Trainee Commercial Catering Installation Engineer

to complement our existing team.

This role would be suitable for someone who has experience in the construction / Shop fitting and / or fit out trades for example general labouring, plumbing who are perhaps looking to progress their career further into a Commercial Catering environment.

Based in Livingston, Scotland this role reports to the Senior Contracts Manager, your role is to assist with installing commercial catering equipment to our customers covering Scotland and Central Belt and Borders. As part of your role the successful candidate will carry out the duties below:

Learn how to install commercial catering equipment in accordance with all regulations. Assist with offloading delivery vehicles and delivering kitchen equipment into project sites. Any other duties commensurate within this position and skill set required.
In order to be considered for this role you must:

Previous plumbing / heating experience Be enthusiastic, analytical and methodical in your approach to work. Have an attention to detail and quality. Possess a 'can do' attitude. Self-motivated with the ability to work equally well using their own initiative or as part of a team.
The above requirements would be an advantage, but training will be given to the successful candidate looking to progress their career. Depending on the needs of the business the successful candidate may have the support to obtain further industry relevant qualifications dependant on the career route preferred
