What will the role involve?

To safely operate machines enabling the smooth manufacturing of components. You will work from standard operating procedures, drawings and process control documents, in accordance with production schedules and other agreed timescales. Ensure that you raise to your team-leader in a timely manner any tooling/resources/materials and/or process issues that may impact on your principal accountabilities. Ensuring you raise any training and development needs to your direct supervisor to support your needs of the role. Share experience, knowledge and best practice To carry out self-inspection and in-process checks

What tolerance will I work towards?

You will work to the tolerance of up to

1 micron

- so if you want to be skilled in precision engineering- this is the role for you!

What will you require?

Experience of working in the same or similar role/level is desirable,

although training will be given

An understanding of reading manufacturing drawings (

desirable

) Be a Self-motivated team player Ability to operate with the minimum of supervision Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with employees at all levels IT literate
