The Opportunity
We are seeking to appoint an
Trainee Operations Assistant
within our Belfast HQ to deliver an effective support service to the Operations and Engineering Resource Department.
Full training will be provided. We are looking for someone who is hardworking, flexible, reliable, proactive, and competent with written and spoken communication.
Key aspects to the role of the Trainee Operations Assistant are a strong work ethic, excellent attendance and punctuality and a will to work hard and self-development.
As an Trainee Operations Assistant your duties will include;
Assisting in job scheduling and allocation of engineering resource, collation of timesheets etc.
Communicating updates, work plans and H&S updates to engineering staff
CAD drawing updates and schematics, typically fibre topological drawings
Stock Control, labelling and documentation of deliveries etc
Compiling and sending RAMS and O&M manuals/tech specs
Office IT Support - Log and monitoring of vehicle tracking etc.
Essential Skills & Experience:
The successful candidate will demonstrate
A understanding of IT literacy
Understanding of policy, planning, and strategy.
Ability to assist in develop, implement and review policies and procedures.
Ability to learn and understand budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.
The Trainee Operations Assistant will come across plenty of opportunities to develop and increase their experience levels across a number of different projects.
Suitable training will be offered where appropriate to help and encourage development.
