We are seeking a Trainee Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality finishes. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets our high standards of excellence. The Trainee Painter will work in our newly dedicated paint facility along with experienced painters who provide full in house training.
4 Day working week - Mon-Thurs 7am-5.30pm
Expected Duties
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
Apply paint using airless and air-assisted paint guns to achieve a smooth and even finish.
Mix paints according to specifications.
Follow safety protocols while working with chemicals and tools.
Maintain a clean and organised work area throughout the painting process.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Preferred Experience
but not essential
The ideal candidate should have:
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to painting tasks.
Basic mechanical knowledge to understand equipment operation.
Experience in painting is advantageous but not essential.
Previous experience in a factory or similar environment is preferred.
A strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
