Trainee Prepper/paint Sprayer

We are a creative construction and manufacturing company and are responsible for delivering some of the most iconic projects in recent times. We are a multi-disciplined manufacturing facility spread over 12,000Sqm of estate with four manufacturing and storage facilities, engineering, fabrication, woodwork, finishing and a specialist manufacturing facility.
The Trainee Prepper/Paint Sprayer
will develop skills and knowledge to support the HQ Paint department in delivering high end exhibition finishes on required projects.Key Responsibilities
Learn how to apply primer coats using spray guns and rub down surfaces between coats. Learn how to mix paints using a schemed database system. Learn how to prepare materials including filling & sanding and preparing surfaces such as metal, wood, 3D prints, or plastics, to sand or ground surface. Learn how to apply base coats and lacquer finishes. Learn how to apply direct to steel paint systems. Learn how to work in a spray booth to ensure paint is confined to the specific areas. Daily checking & documentation of paint/ paint consumables within the department. Monitor and report deficiencies in stock. Learn how to use internal ERP system for signing off stages in production.
