The Role

We're looking to recruit a

Trainee Paint Sprayer

to join our busy factory team. This is a hands-on role where you'll be trained to apply protective coatings to fabricated steel components used in critical infrastructure projects across the UK.

You'll learn everything from preparing surfaces, mixing paints, operating spray equipment, and applying specialist industrial coatings - all while working alongside experienced professionals who will support your development.

What You'll Learn

Preparation of fabricated steelwork prior to painting (e.g., masking, sanding, and cleaning) Application of primers, topcoats, and specialist protective coatings Use of airless spray guns and other industrial equipment Compliance with health & safety procedures and quality control standards Maintenance and cleaning of spray booths and equipment
What We're Looking For

We don't expect previous experience - we're looking for the right attitude.

You'll need to be:

Willing to learn and work hard in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious A team player who takes pride in producing quality work Comfortable working in a factory setting, often wearing PPE
Desirable (but not essential)

Experience in a manufacturing or construction environment Forklift licence or familiarity with workshop machinery An interest in industrial or automotive painting
