Trainee Project Manager

Job Description

We are a specialist coatings company working predominately within the manufacturing, construction, water and food industries, looking to expand our team by the introduction of a Trainee Projects Manager. Working as part of a small team, you will assist in the smooth running of projects by ensuring processes and procedures are adhered to.

We are looking for a dedicated, reliable and focused team member who is practical, flexible and who has the ability to solve problems as they arise, in a timely and efficient manner. You must be able to demonstrate excellent organizational skills, communication skills, a methodical approach to work and good IT skills.

We deal in specialized products and methods so on the job training will be provided.

This is a full time role working from our office in Dereham and various sites across the UK.

Responsibilities and Duties



To work within the Projects office, working with Project Managers as part of a team.

To learn all the technical information relating to applying various coatings, company systems and processes relating to running live Projects, this will include, but not limited to the following:-

Planning and allocating resources for each project.

Communicating effectively with clients in a timely and professional manner

Communicating effectively with site personnel and office team members

Ensure all Quality Assurance is completed and submitted

Ensure Environmental Compliance is maintained

Produce all safety and quality documentation as required for projects

Fulfil project contractual requirements

Manage Site Supervisors to ensure Projects are delivered safely and within scope and budget

Attend weekly project meetings

Ensure of systems/processes are followed, such as Project Planning forms submitted in full and in a timely manner

Production of Risk Assessments and Method Statements as required

Ensure Vehicle inspection forms are completed weekly

To be commercially aware throughout a project's life

Ensure Sales invoices are raised in a timely manner

Ensure all Project related documentation is filed appropriately

Establish and maintain relationships with third parties, clients and suppliers etc

Work as part of team to help with smooth running of Projects.

To undertake any other reasonable tasks requested of you by Management

Required Experience/Qualifications:-



At least 1 years work experience (Office or Site) MS Office, Outlook, word and Excel CSCS - Desirable Confined Space - desirable Driving License - essential
