Trainee Property Manager required in the Edinburgh area for a first-class Letting Agency. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, dedication to the team, and passion for property.

Key Skills:

The ability to drive and with a full clean driver's license is essential.

Well organised and structured, able to prioritise and manage a number of tasks daily. Good telephone manner. Good standard of English both verbal and written. Numerate and have the ability to calculate quickly. Ability to use Word, Excel, and other cloud-based technology systems. Keen to learn, Hardworking, flexible and excellent timekeeping is a must. Ability to learn independently, using provided manuals and guides. Proactive and enthusiastic. Outstanding social skills and ability to develop and maintain relationships. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and remain calm under pressure. A keen eye for detail. A calm and level head in stressful situations. Fantastic customer service Professional nature with a very smart appearance. A good timekeeper. Flexible. A practical mind when dealing with maintenance issues. A team player.

Responsibilities:

Carrying out viewings. Arranging viewings if contacted by email. Communication with viewers. Referencing. Inventories. Inspections, interim and final. Updating website. Assessing deposit deductions. Liaising with landlords re tenants' requests. Organise let boards. Small maintenance jobs at flats. Keys management Ability to develop and maintain key relationships with landlords and other relevant organisations. Stay up to date with key legislation and ensure landlords are aware and compliant. Ensure all properties are up to date with all required certificates and documentation. Update and maintain office records and paperwork. Complete ARLA exams to level 6. Other ad hoc tasks.

Recognised property exams ARLA/NFOPP paid by the employer.

Legionella Risk Assessment Training and Competence Certificate, paid by the employer.

Salary: 23,800.00 per year + Performance bonus + Profit Share+
