Role Overview
:
We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and driven
Trainee Registered Manager
to join our dynamic team and lead the operation of our children's home. You will oversee the daily running of the service, ensuring that it meets regulatory requirements, industry standards, and the individual needs of the children in our care. Your leadership and expertise will be crucial in ensuring that we continue to provide the highest standard of care to our young residents.
Key Responsibilities
:
Lead and manage a team of support staff to provide high-quality care for children and young people.
Receive expert support and guidance as you navigate the Ofsted registration process.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory frameworks, including Ofsted standards and Children's Homes Regulations.
Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of each child.
Maintain a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the well-being, development, and safety of every child.
Monitor and review care provision, making improvements where necessary to ensure excellent outcomes for children.
Support and mentor staff, fostering their professional development through training, supervision, and support.
Ensure the home operates efficiently, within budget, and in line with organizational policies.
Liaise with external agencies, professionals, and families to ensure holistic care and support.
Skills and Experience Required
:
Proven experience in managing a children's home or similar residential care setting.
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and national standards for children's care services.
Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle complex situations with empathy and professionalism.
A passion for working with children and young people, and a commitment to making a positive difference in their lives.
Enhanced DBS check required (we will arrange this if needed).
