Key Responsibilities:
Assist our experienced scaffolders in building and taking down scaffolding structures.
Learn how to safely handle scaffolding materials and tools.
Be trained on how to follow health and safety guidelines and ensure the safety of the team and the worksite.
Work outdoors in a team environment, learning on the job.
Progress in your skills and take on more responsibility as you gain experience.
Qualifications
Proven experience in scaffolding or a related construction field is preferred but not essential.
A strong interest in learning and starting a career in construction.
Ability to follow instructions and learn from experienced professionals.
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all kinds of weather.
A positive attitude, team-oriented, and reliable.
Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
A valid driving license is helpful but not essential, however you will need to able to get to the Cullompton yard in the mornings.
H&S for operatives test advantageous.
