Trainee Vehicle Recovery Controller
Job Description
Auto Services Perth Ltd are seeking a new trainee Vehicle Recovery Controller to work within our busy 24hr Roadside Rescue and Recovery Department.
Duties to Include:
Answering Phone calls & E-mails
Dispatching Jobs to Technicians
Contacting Customers for Information or with Updates
Front of House dealing with in person Customer Enquiries
Invoicing Jobs
Planning & Prioritising Routes and Jobs
The role would suit a person who has a good knowledge of the local Perthshire area along with a basic understanding of vehicle mechanics. The job will involve contacting customers who might be in a distressing situation so a calm, re-assuring and confident personality would be a benefit. Full training in the system would be provided at our Perth depot.
We work alongside Police Scotland so the successful candidate will also require Police Vetting. We work a full time shift system which includes working every third week-end. Due to the nature of our industry, the successful candidate could occasionally be required to take phone calls through the night. Extra allowance paid for these.
