Job Title: Trainee Warehouse Operative

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented

Trainee Warehouse Operative

to join our dynamic warehouse team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in logistics and supply chain operations. You'll gain hands-on experience in warehouse processes, stock control, and SAP systems, with full training and development provided.

Key Responsibilities

Goods Receipt & Inspection

Receive and visually inspect incoming goods. Allocate BIN/AREA numbers and process goods into SAP. Identify and escalate late purchase orders.

Stock & Inventory Management

Conduct daily stock checks on consumables and inventory. Use SAP to track stock levels, purchase orders, and supplier details. Maintain accurate manual and digital stock records.

Production & Assembly Support

Create and release production orders. Issue components to production using SAP. Receive and document returned goods from assembly.

Spares & Dispatch

Book in spare parts and coordinate with the spares department. Pack goods for dispatch and communicate logistics details (weights, dimensions, etc.). Use the spares tracker to manage aftermarket sales.

Order Management

Follow up on outstanding and upcoming orders to ensure timely processing.

What We're Looking For

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer literacy; SAP experience is a plus but not essential. Good communication and teamwork skills.
