Overview

We are seeking a Trainee Sound, Lighting and Audio Visual Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong interest in audio, lighting and visual equipment. This role involves the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of AV systems while ensuring efficient materials handling within the warehouse environment. The company has been going for over twenty-eight years and is a market leader in installations. Salary negotiable depending upon experience.

Duties

Carry out warehouse prep and deprep of sound, lighting and AV equipment Assist with on-site installation work and service work Set up and dismantle audio and visual equipment for various events and installations. Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on AV, Sound and Lighting systems to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to coordinate logistics for shipping and receiving of equipment. Load and unload equipment from vehicles, ensuring safe handling practices are followed. Assist in materials handling tasks, including heavy lifting as required. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the role effectively. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in stocking and inventory management.
