We're currently looking for a Trainee Wedding Coordinator to join our events team and support the planning and delivery of weddings at our beautiful venue.
This part-time role is ideal for someone highly organized, proactive, and eager to learn the ins and outs of wedding coordination in a hands-on environment.
Please note: This is a physically demanding, fast-paced role that involves setting up spaces, moving equipment, and being on your feet for extended periods. You'll need to be physically fit, energetic, and ready to take on practical tasks in addition to admin and coordination duties.
You'll be working closely with our experienced Wedding Manager, learning and assisting with:
Organising and attending meetings and venue showrounds
Managing email and phone enquiries in a professional and timely manner
Inputting and updating client information in our CRM system
Creating detailed wedding timelines and checklists
Handling day-to-day admin and logistical planning
Being the first point of contact for our couples
Setting up weddings and decor.
Assisting with the smooth running of events from start to finish
Liaising with external suppliers and vendors
Troubleshooting on the day to ensure every detail is covered
We're looking for someone who's:
Passionate about weddings, events, and hospitality
Highly organised, proactive, and calm under pressure
Friendly, confident, and professional when dealing with clients and suppliers
Comfortable with physical work (e.g. moving tables, decor, equipment)
Willing to work flexibly, including approx. 2 weekend shifts per month
A team player who's eager to learn and grow in the role
Tech-savvy and comfortable with excel, email, calendars, and basic systems.
Working hours
16 hours per week (3 days per week including weekends)
Approx. 2 weekend shifts per month required
Additional hours may be needed during busy event periods (with notice)
