Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and cooking of various food items according to established recipes and standards. Support the Bakery team in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of workstations, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Learn to operate Bakery equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens and mixers. Participate in inventory management by helping to track supplies and report any shortages or discrepancies. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food production. Follow instructions from senior bakery staff while demonstrating a willingness to learn new techniques and processes.

Skills

Basic knowledge of culinary techniques, including baking, cooking, and food preparation. Understanding of food safety principles and practices within a bakery environment. Ability to work effectively in a team setting while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various bakery roles as needed. Previous experience in a bakery or food production setting is advantageous but not essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
