Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Operator Trainer to ensure all production operators are trained and assessed to a high standard of competency. This role supports safe, efficient, and compliant machinery operation across the site and contributes to audit readiness. You will also play a key role in the onboarding process ensuring site inductions and training plans are developed and tracked to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update the training matrix daily. Plan and communicate weekly assessments with line managers. Deliver refresher training following incidents or changes. Develop standardized training materials and machine-specific assessments. Design and implement a repeatable induction programme for new starters. Collaborate with HSE, Quality, and Production teams to align training with standards. Continuously improve training processes using feedback and ISO 9001 principles.

Candidate Profile

Essential:

Experience in manufacturing or production, ideally in blending. Strong understanding of machinery, safety protocols, and quality standards. Proven ability to deliver training and assess competency. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and record-keeping.

Desirable:

Train-the-Trainer certification or equivalent. Health & Safety qualification (IOSH, NEBOSH). Experience with SOP development and training documentation.

: Percentage of scheduled training completed on time.
