We are seeking a Training Development Officer to support and grow our care team at Pebble Healthcare. It will be essential that you have outstanding communication skills as you will be working with a diverse range of people including staff members in a varaity of roles, service users, their family members and external professionals.
Experience in the health and social care sector will be required and there will be an expectation for you to demonstrate this through discussion in the interview process.

The Role
This role is part of the leadership / management team within the organisation.
Developing and delivering staff training
Sourcing external training
Staff competency assessments
Staff learning style assessments
Coursework / exam marking
Service user meetings / training reviews
Involvement in recruitment and interviewing process
Monitoring and auditing staff training levels with an expectation of a minimum of 95% staff training to be in date and 100% of all mandatory staff training to be in date
Carrying out all relevant organisational audits
Involvement in CQC inspections and any required communications
Carrying out 1-2-1 supervision meetings with new staff while in their induction period
Supporting staff with educational needs
Providing appropriate emotional wellbeing support to staff
Creating, developing and maintaining staff personal development plans
Collaborative working between operations and business / admin team
Answering office phone calls and dealing with or redirecting enquiries appropriately
Attending relevant external conferences and exhibitions (e.g. care show, recruitment drives)
Representing the organisation
Qualifications
Full UK driving licence with access to own reliable vehicle.
Level 3 award in educational training (AET) or highter.
Experience within the health and social care sector.
Clear DBS
Competent IT skills within Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Working hours and Starting Wage
20 hours a week to be worked flexibly in order to accommodate the needs of the service. This may involve the occasional evening or weekend. Hours will be worked on an average due to some weeks requiring a higher number of hours and some weeks less.
Hourly rate starting at 14.50 and increasing to 16.50 after successful 6 month probation period. With a quarterly target bonus.
