Supporting the business and our divisional offices, our Head Office functions cover all departments from our Executive Board through to our support functions such as Group Design and Technical, HR, Health and Safety, IT, Sales and Marketing, Commercial, Procurement, Group Finance, Corporate Affairs, as well as Legal and Company Secretariat. The Commercial Training Manager role will deliver commercial systems training across the group to support the induction of new employees, new roles, refresher training and to address the upskilling of IT literacy across the operational business.
The role will support the development of training strategies and materials while maintaining uniformly high standards in efforts to assess needs, develop, deliver and evaluate training.
There will be an ongoing requirement to work with the Group Commercial to maintain and develop training materials as the systems are developed or changed as part of continual improvements.
Reporting to the Senior Training Manager, the Commercial Training Manager will be required to develop commercial business representatives to serve as Super Users for the systems, who will provide day to day help on systems and also support project deployments as part of their normal day to day role.

The Commercial Training Manager is responsible for a number of key areas relating to the induction of new employees and roles and providing training solutions for changes to our existing systems. They will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with subject matter experts and super users to ensure training is role-based, accurate and consistent.
Manage the design and execution of training strategy, plan, and deliverables for the system, including coordination with internal and external stakeholders as needed
Agree the appropriate delivery method for all elements of system training
Design and deliver face-to-face training, self-directed learning, and train-the-trainer guidance for all system-related needs.
Create and manage training activity work plans that include assignment of responsibilities, estimated level of effort for team members, dependencies, and deadlines
Provide supportive tools that enable skills and knowledge to be effectively absorbed and understood; training materials and user manuals, including but not limited to instructor guides, participant guides, and job aids
Collaborate with Group Commercial and Subject Matter Experts on the creation of training materials, as well as planning for face-to-face and remote instructor-led training.
Work with Group Commercial, Group IT and Project Managers to ensure all BAU continuous improvement changes to the system are accurately reflected in the induction training materials.
Regularly engage and develop Super Users who will provide day to day help on systems and support project deployments as part of their normal day to day role.
Collaborate with the Group L&D design team on creation of digital content and utilisation of the Online Learning Platform
Create and deliver training content with a high level of cultural competency for non-tech speaking audiences
Contribute to the expansion of system knowledge management system within the IT support ticketing system to incorporate training-related Q&A
Facilitate training workshops, as needed
Build rapport with employees to help increase system adoption and encourage feedback of potential improvements
If the area requires Super Users, the identification and establishing the Super User network. This will involve working with Divisions and Group Functions to confirm people requirements then providing Super Users induction and enhanced training to enable the Super Users to be provide required support
On going management of Super Users community including managing any leavers with new replacements along with subsequent super users training.
Trainers are to sit alongside existing adoption and change managers to provide more flexibility for BAU Systems training and also to support project deployment or refresher training needs.
Induction and BAU change training will be supported by a design, development, and governance and reporting team within Group HR.
Develop robust processes with IT support teams to ensure that there is a seamless transition of system changes to the operation through effective communication and training.
Collaborate with the Group HR and the L&D function to provide a holistic induction plan for new starters.
Form part of a centralised training support team who can provide coaching and advise to employees where needed on system usage.
Accurately report on training KPIs and employee feedback for systems Induction and BAU training.
What you'll need?

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong organisational and work prioritisation skills and attention to detail
Supervisory experience preferred
Willing to travel (up to 40%-50%) based on business need
Experience with Virtual Delivery applications like: MS Teams, GoToTraining, WebEx Training Center, Join.Me or other
Experience using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project or other comparable applications
